Keeling and I am a boy with Menkes Disease. I hope this website raises awareness of Menkes and is useful to other families with a Menkes child. My family and I are over the moon the announce that we reached our fundraising target of £20,000 on 31st December 2010. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to all of the generous and hardworking familiy members, friends and complete strangers that have reached out and offered their helping hand, by the time people have put into organising events, and by the donations given by so many people. We cannot put into words just how moved we have been by the kindness shown. However.... there are still kind people out there who want to stage even more events to see the fundraising pot continue to grow. This is amazing considering that we have already reached our target, but it is also greatly appreciated as we are all too aware that as I grow I will continue to require other equipment in the future. Thanks so much to those involved! Please keep coming back and watch my website grow. Thanks for looking! NB: Although our target has been reached, we still intend to stage events that have already been organised. |
